How soon will my order be shipped?
After you place your order, it typically ships within 24 hours. If you place your order after 2pm EST, your order will be shipped the following business day. We do not ship on weekends or nationally observed holidays.
How long until I receive my order?
Please note, the above numbers are estimates and are not guaranteed as the mail carrier may experience unexpected delays. Lost or delayed packages must be claimed through USPS and will be replaced at the discrection of Washi Scissor Company. International customers, please note that your country may impose a duty on your package in accordance with the local laws. Please check with your local postal services for more information.
What is the return and exchange policy?
Shears must be returned within 14 days from the day you receive your order. Damaged shears are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Shears returned in like new condition within the 14-day period will receive a full refund less shipping or any missing items. Shipping charges are not refundable and you are responsible for return shipping fees.
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted without a Return Authorization Number and Form. Please call or email us to request a return authorization form which will be emailed to you. Write the RA number on your envelope, if we are unable to read your Return Authorization Number on your envelope, your return will not be accepted.
If you are exchanging: Return only the shear you would like to exchange with the authorization form that you will receive from us upon request. If the new shear is priced higher, please include a payment for the difference. We will issue a refund within 5 business days for the difference if the new shear is priced lower.
If you are returning for a refund: Return the shear along with everything included in the original package in order to avoid any deductions from your refund. Include the return authorization form that we will provide you upon request. We will issue the refund within 5 business days after we receive your return.
We do not accept payment plans. However, PayPal has released a new feature called PayPal Credit that allows you to enjoy no payments and no interest if paid in full in 6 months on PayPal Credit purchases of $99 or more. All Washi Scissors have a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. Damage caused by neglect or abuse and shears serviced by unauthorized sharpeners will void your warranty. All service work should be performed by an authorized sharpening company. Shears that are defective will be replaced or repaired at the discretion of the manufacturer.

How will my purchase be shipped?
You will find your shears carefully packaged and sent to you via the US Postal Service. For extra security we ship your package with the signature confirmation option. Therefore, someone must be present to accept the shipment. If you would like us to waive the signature confirmation for your shipment, please contact us as soon as you place your order.
I missed the delivery of my package, what do I do now?
Your local USPS employee should leave you a notice either at your door or mailbox with information regarding your shipment. You can either reschedule the delivery for a different day, or pick it up at the post office that will be marked on that notice. If the notice is missing, you can use the tracking number that is emailed to you when your order is shipped and reschedule your delivery on the USPS website under "Track and Manage" and then "Schedule a Redelivery".
